Reporting to the Marketing Manager or Delegate, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Manage all activity within the marketing department, ensuring all service standards are followed
  • Execute marketing plans and programs in conjunction with the Sales department to ensure profit growth 
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns 
  • Oversee a social media strategy
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s website(s) 
  • Write and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and Etc.
  • Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Oversee all marketing initiatives for the project
  • Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on
  • Plan and oversee the hotels advertising and promotion activities, including print, electronic, and direct mail 
  • Work with the Public Relations department and artists to oversee copywriting, design, layout, and the production of promotional materials
  • Follow the annual budget and administer that budget in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
